Puppy Names

Today at church Eden found out that one of her best friends, Lydia, is getting a puppy this week.  It's a female mini-boxer.  The two of them spent the entire hour after church trying to think of a good name for the puppy, apparently going through dozens of names (and their nicknames) in the search for the perfect puppy name.  Eden reported that in the midst of this they had the following exchange.

Lydia: I think it should be a tough name, because the puppy's a mini-boxer, but it should also be a girl's name, since the puppy is a girl.
Eden: You should name her Harriet Tubman.

Awesome.

The Zoo

Eden and went to the zoo yesterday and discovered they have a new exhibit of lorikeets.  They were fun.  I was glad I wore my hat.
