Upcycling

Eden and I used the cardboard from a couple of frozen pizzas to do an art project this evening.

This and That

My mom sent me these two pictures of me, Liz, and Micah.  They were probably taken about 20 years apart, maybe a little more.  Micah should be wearing mittens in the second one!  Believe it or not, we are actually sitting on the same porch in both pictures.

For Easter Eden got a little sewing kit for making stuffed animals.  She's doing great with it.  I helped her with the penguin, but she did the seal almost entirely by herself!

Happy Easter

We woke up to this:

But decided not to care because it's Easter and our anniversary!!

We listened to Nathan preach a great sermon and then dived into the Easter baskets.

Then an amazing Mediterranean lunch from Sanaa's.  Delicious!

After lunch we watched our wedding and honeymoon videos.  We want to go to St. John!!

Then Eden made this cute little penguin which is part of a sewing kit she got in her Easter basket.

There was a big Easter egg hunt!

Then naps, followed by several hilarious games of Catch Phrase.  

A happy Easter was had by all.

Happy Wedding Day!

Abe and Janessa got married today!  They got married in Maine with almost no one there in person, but fortunately, we all got to watch it on YouTube.  So fun, and so wonderful.

Then we went for a walk because it was a fairly nice day.

And I found this gem while I was looking through our wedding pictures!

All the Same

There seems to be almost nothing to distinguish the days right now.  We get up.  The kids do school work (and are doing a great job of getting it done).  I do school work (and it's taking forever to get it done).  Nathan works in his office.  We eat.  We go for a walk.  We watch a Star Trek episode.  We read a book.  We hope the weather will be nice.  And we'll do it all again tomorrow -- we hope!

Warm Weather

We finally had some warm weather today.  It's supposed to snow on Friday, so we enjoyed it as much as we could.

Z tried to wear Phin out, which is hard to do:

And Eden built a waterway, complete with lego characters, in our sandpit.
